Richard Cellini

Before founding Tremont Venture Partners, Richard was a principal in 100x Ventures, Inc.'s Strategy & Ventures group. 100x was an Internet Incubator founded by the former CTO of Lycos. While there, he was responsible for all aspects of business strategy, market identification and revenue-model development for 100x's portfolio companies. Prior to joining 100x, Richard was with Arthur D. Little Inc., where he was a partner in the firm's global Technology & Innovation Management consulting practice. Before ADL, Richard was the founding leader of an innovation strategy consulting practice for Fitch plc, an international design and development consultancy headquartered in London. Richard has more than a dozen years' experience in professional services, evenly divided between corporate law and management consulting. He has extensive technology turnaround experience. Richard is a member of the New York bar, and was a practicing attorney with two Wall Street law firms. He has an A.B. and a J.D. from Georgetown University, and an LL.M. from the University of Cambridge in England.

Joe Lardner

Joe is the co-founder of Fitplay.com, an Internet matching engine for sports enthusiasts. Joe was responsible for the development of the company's technology and web site. Fitplay was a portfolio company of 100x, which Joe is also a founding member. Before Fitplay and 100x, Joe was an engineer and later a competitive analyst at Parametric Technology where he monitored and evaluated competitive technologies. He is an engineering consultant and advised such companies as Van Zelm Heywood and Shadford, SWI, Inc and Energy Auditors, Inc. Joe has a mechanical engineering degree form the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

Erik M. Rosen

Most recently, Erik was a principal in the Strategy and Ventures Group at 100x, where he was responsible for the venture capital investments, corporate finance and M&A transactions. Previously, he worked in the Technology Group at H.C. Wainwright where he advised clients on corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to investment banking, Erik was a member of C.S. First Boston's Praedium Private Equity Group. He spent several years as in-house counsel and a member of the corporate finance team at Frontier Insurance Group, which doubled in size through acquisitions during his tenure at the company. Erik patented a technology and incorporated his first company at age 21 and subsequently sold the company. Erik's broad transaction experience ranges from attorney to investment banker. He has an A.B. from Colgate University, J.D. and M.A. (Journalism) from Syracuse University and an M.B.A. from Yale University.

David Patrick

David has 18 years sales, marketing and operations experience in the computer software industry. He was most recently president of worldwide sales and operations for The Learning Company. During his tenure, revenue grew to $900 hundred million through a combination of internal growth and an aggressive consolidation of over 25 companies. He was responsible for managing the five operating divisions. The company was sold to Mattel Incorporated for $3.8 billion and he completed a one-year transition plan, which included moving the Boston operations to the West Coast. David was vice president of worldwide sales and marketing for the Tops networking division of Sun Microsystems where he was responsible for launching the company's products in nine countries. Prior to that he was President and COO for Migent International, a consumer software company. He held a number of senior sales and marketing positions for Ashton-Tate including director of international based in London. He started his software career in management at Lotus Development Corporation during the launch of 123. David is an active investor and a member of the Boston Common Angels. He is on the board of Logowire, an Internet startup, and an investor and on the board of advisors for a West Coast based Internet incubator Net Catalyst.
